Who Needs to File ITR?
Mandatory Filing
- Individuals: Gross income exceeds Rs 2.5 lakhs (old regime) or Rs 3 lakhs (new regime)
- Senior Citizens (60-80 years): Income exceeds Rs 3 lakhs
- Super Senior Citizens (80+ years): Income exceeds Rs 5 lakhs

Step-by-Step ITR Filing Process
Step 1: Register on Income Tax Portal
- Visit www.incometax.gov.in
- Register with PAN (if not already registered)
- Link Aadhaar with PAN

How to File Belated Return
